In her early years of practice, she was involved in conveyancing property and real estate matters before venturing into corporate and commercial works. Throughout the years, she gained experience in various corporate matters involving mergers and acquisitions, shares and/or asset sale and purchase, joint venture arrangements, shareholders agreements, issuance of redeemable preference shares, corporate structuring, commercial matters varying from distribution and supply agreements,

licensing agreements, investment arrangements and other matters involving local and cross border transactions. During her course of practice, she has had the exposure on Islamic finance related matters such as Islamic factoring agreements, Islamic financing agreements, Islamic preference shares and the likes whilst ensuring the firm to deliver shariah-compliant agreements.

Her previous engagements prior to the firm includes Messrs. Khalek Awang & Associates, Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (now known as Asian International Arbitration Centre), Messrs. Aris & Co, and Messrs. Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah.

She now heads the Corporate Commercial, Real Estate & Finance Practice Group.
