Dr Sarafuddin has the experience to be part of the management team in developing new businesses in the area of consultancy and training. Throughout his services, he managed local and international clients to ensure the services delivered meet the quality expected by the industry.

He has professional experience in providing consultancy and training. For consultancy, he has experience in providing consultancy on governance and strategic performance for non-profit organisations and public institutions including educational institutions. He also provides consultancy in corporate dealings such as joint ventures for construction projects, acquisitions and social finance dealings. He was part of a team providing consultancy to UNDP in 2018 for financial inclusion to Marawi’s community in the Philippines.

His experience also includes developing professional learning content and delivering training at the local and international levels. Among others are the delivery of professional programmes and programme development for institutions in the Maldives, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines, Senegal, and Kenya. His area of training includes corporate governance, Islamic finance, corporate law, sustainability and risk management.
